Announcing three new editions by Maser!

We had the pleasure of welcoming Maser back to our studio again two weeks ago to sign these colorful new editions. During the visit he also started work on another collaborative project with us, which will be finished sometime in 2018.

September 22, 2017 – February 25, 2018
Contemporary Arts Center

An immersive installation by Tandem Press collaborator Swoon (Caledonia Curry) has just opened at the Cincinnati Arts Center. A mid-career (and first-ever) survey of her work, The Canyon: 1999-2017 includes a large site-specific installation as well as examples of past work such as a reassembled raft made of garbage that originally sailed through the canals of Venice and wheat pasted portraits and paper cut assemblages that are a hallmark of Swoon’s socially inspired work.
Cincinnati City Beat recently wrote an article about the exhibition, which can be found here.

Judy Pfaff, “…and the crane thought…”2017. Woodcut, hand painted dye, colored silver leaf, 57 x 37 1/2 inches, varied edition of 24. $9,500 framed.

Judy Pfaff has just completed a massive, 140-foot long installation at Messums Wiltshire in Salisbury, England. This captivating installation, housed in a 13th century barn, is inspired by the local landscape that is home to Stonehenge. Like much of Pfaff’s work, materials included in the installation include both found and created objects, such as glass, wood, metal, stones, and root balls from 300-year-old sycamore trees.

Mickalene Thomas, Left Behind 2 Again, 2014. Relief, intaglio, archival inkjet, collage, enamel paint, 43 x 64 1/2 inches, edition of 24. $11,000.
