June 30-August 13, 2017
Lesley Dill is included in this group exhibition that highlights contemporary uses of text in visual art. Each participating artist is known for their own specific handling of visual occurrences of text to build an aesthetic and emphasize meaning in their work.

Cameron Martin presents a new body of work through two solo exhibitions. Though drastically deviating from the representational work that he has produced in the past, these new abstract paintings and optical drawings still carry the same focus on precision and perception that we have come to expect from Martin’s work.

Revival – group exhibition at the National Museum of Women in the Arts
June 23-September 10

The National Museum of Women in the Arts recently opened an exhibition that illuminates a selection of women sculptors and photographers that harness drastic elements of scale and material to create profound effects in the viewer’s experience. Alison Saar is included alongside artists such as Louise Bourgeois, Petah Coyne, Lalla Essaydi, and others.

Super Natural – solo exhibition at MadArt, Seattle

Open Studio: June 19-July 28, 2017
Exhibition Opening: Sunday July 30 1-4pm, artist talk at 2pm
Exhibition Open: July 31-October 14, 2017
This summer Jennifer Angus is in residence at MadArt in Seattle, WA, mounting an installation of her colorful kaleidoscopic designs created using insect specimens. The studio will be open for viewing throughout the installation process as Angus tediously and precisely pins each insect to the wall.

Many congratulations to Jim Dine on the completion of his new permanent installation at the Chazen Museum of Art. The monumental four-panel painting is installed in the ceiling of the gallery that features work from the museum’s Greco-Roman Art collection.
