Postponed: The Annual Wine & Art Auction
Dear Friends and Supporters of Tandem Press,
We are writing to you about the status of the Annual Tandem Press Wine & Art Auction. As you know, this is the time of the year when we make preparations for the auction which has been scheduled for June 18, 2020. However we are deeply concerned about everyone’s continued health, safety, and well-being due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the Wine Auction Committee has decided to postpone this year’s auction.
As you know, in additional to the individual artists that regularly donate to this annual fundraiser, many of our supporters operate small businesses including restaurants, wine bars, local galleries, hotels, salons, theaters, art supply stores, art framing shops, music venues, and museums. These artists and businesses are being deeply affected by this pandemic; many are closed, laying off staff, and implementing new operational solutions in an effort to minimize the economic challenges brought about during this health crisis. At Tandem Press, we know that we would not be where we are today without the support of our community, so the health and wellbeing of our community members is of utmost importance to us. The postponement of our 2020 Wine & Art Auction is a difficult but necessary decision for us to make during this trying time.
We have included below a list of all the individuals and businesses that have donated to the Tandem Press Wine & Art Auction over the past two years, so that you can see the extraordinary generosity of our supporters. We will greatly miss seeing all our donors and friends at the Wine & Art Auction in June as planned, but we look forward to organizing our event in the future once this international crisis has passed.
