During the Southern Graphic Council International’s 2019 annual conference, Alison Saar was awarded the Lifetime Achievement in Printmaking Award. This award is given annually to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the professional development of printmaking as a fine art.

To commemorate this award, a touring exhibition featuring Alison Saar’s prints was organized, Mirror, Mirror: The Prints of Alison Saar, from the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation, which included many of the prints that Alison Saar created in the Tandem Press studio.

Tandem Press hosted our own exhibition in the Tandem Press Apex Gallery, Alison Saar: Printmaker, to share Alison Saar’s achievement with our local community in Madison, Wisconsin.
